Google search engine optimization

Search engine optimization makes small incremental improvements to parts of your website that will have a noticeable search result impact on a whole when combined with other optimizations. These optimizations may seem familiar but here’s how to fully make use them.

Title Tag

Create a unique, short, informative and accurate page title tag. This tag will tell both users and search engines what the topic of a particular page is. Ideally, there should be a unique title for each page on your site. The title tag should be placed within the head tag of the HTML document. Keep a title that accurately describes and communicates effectively the topic of the page content. Do not choose a title that has no relation to the content on the page or uses an unidentifiable title like "Untitled" etc.

Meta Tag

A page's description meta tag gives Google and other search engines a summary of what the page is about, which can be a sentence or two or a short paragraph. Like the title tag, the description meta tag is placed within the head tag of your HTML document. Write a description that would both inform and interest users if they saw your description meta tag as a snippet (description below the title) in a search result. Never mind inserting meta tag if your site got millions of pages as you could automatically generate description meta tags based on each page's content but do have unique meta tags for each pages. Like the title tag, describe and communicate short and effectively the topic of the page content.
